Paulin B and The Beedle Ref

Name: Paulin B.
Age: 17
Occupation: Warrior-in-training and toxicologist
Habitat: A hive-themed home on a bug-themed planet.

"MY OPPONENT HAS FAUGHT VERY WELL, BUT TODAY I AM VICTORIOUS. "

Toxins: He carries them in his belt pouches. He has a wide variety of them, and many of them aren't just "poison"; they have various effects such as putting someone to sleep, temporary paralyzing a limb, creating a nasty cloud of dust to lower vision, etc.

Background: It's customary on his planet for a kid to leave his parents when he or she is only 10 years old, as that is when you are an adult. However, Paulin is a little.. immature, so The Beedle decided to watch over him as his mentor. Although Paulin's planet is one of the most peaceful out there, and there has never been a war there, Paulin seems to think he needs to train for one. Despite being the only capable fighter on his planet, the bug-people on his planet find him weird and stay away from him. Thus he has no friends and lives alone with The Beedle :<

Personality: Spontaneous, acts first and thinks later, hot-headed, and he's addicted to Honey, an uncommon drug on his planet. He's also overly-confident, but scared easily. He tries to believe he's better off without friends and despises most people, although he secretly loves The Beedle like a grandfather. He gets enjoyment from training, fighting, flying, and making jokes. (He isn't funny though)

Strengths: Agility, flight, and very good aim. If he loses his spears he has some others as backup, and he can use toxins if he's left weapon-less.

Weaknesses: If he's fighting a non-human, most of his toxins probably won't work. His wings are useless if they're wet or if it's too hot or too cold. He's fast/agile, but not that powerful. He relies on rapid, quick attacks, so he'll lose in a pure test of strength. Not very clever on his own.

Fun fact: His blood is a greenish-yellow.

Age: 105
Occupation: Wizard (sort of)

"My, you're quite the warrior, sonny. You must be thirsty after all that ravel-rousing though"

Background: Eh well no one really knows much about his past. He's seen a lot though, and he's very wise. He's always been interested in magic but he has a very hard time actually doing it. After Paulin was abandoned by his parents (which is customary on the planet, mind you) he decided to become Paulin's mentor, as he thinks he can help the boy succeed in life. In fact, The Beedle knew a guy who got them their house for free : D

Personality: Eccentric. Whenever he's calm, he's a very nice person and will do Paulin's chores, carry his weapons, etc. A lot of the time though he's just silly :> He swears a lot (with bug-themed cuss words of course; What the bug, Gnats, dung beetles, etc) He's usually a foil to Paulin

*Note: The Beedle isn't going to fight in the tournament. His magic isn't strong enough (he can't even conjure lemonade <_<) and he's old and frail. He gives Paulin advice in battle though!

OH, and The Beedle can fly as well! Just thought I'd point that out.
