So, it seems I've lost against

. Congratulations!
I had a lot of mixed feelings on many of the judging results, but I think ours was one of the closer matches. I think it was a battle of Plot vs. Characterization; where I had more things going on plot-wise and location-wise, but Mindy (StartledStar) portrayed the characters better and had a more touching story. Congrats again Mindy :]
I'd be lying if I said I wasn't sad about losing; It's sad to not be a part of the tournament anymore. I had a metric SHIT FUCK TON of plot planned out for the entire tournament. Like seriously. BUT, I will post a page sometime later revealing all of that, so you can all see what would have happened. It might just blow your mind.
Years ago when Law of Talos (another OCT) was going on, it was a dream of mine to be a part of it. And in many ways, Idris felt like my Law of Talos (Steampunk ftw!). So, despite not making it past round 1 (of my first OCT I got into ever, btw, so there is time in the future to improve!) despite this, I think I went all out in my first round and I have no regrets.
It taught me a lot about what I need to improve on. Characterization is arguably the biggest thing, and working faster so I can make my art quality better would be another.
So yeah, I'm going to continue doing OCTs for a while until I'm ready to work on original series (ideas I have currently are a magical girl series involving Hazel, and another one would be Delos's series that I had planned for him even BEFORE Idrisfall).
Good luck to everyone else still in Idrisfall :] I'll be reading your entries
